Q1: How do I get started working with you?
Answer: Just fill out the project survey on my Contact Page. It helps me understand what you’re after — no pressure or commitment until you’re ready to go.
Q2: What do your services cost?
Answer: Prices vary by project and type of business (determined by the reach of the designs). You can get an idea of some of my prices that are already set on smaller design projects under the Services page.
Q3: How long does a project take?
Answer: Timeline depends on the scope of the project — But most projects fall between 2-6 weeks. I will give you a custom estimate before anything’s official.
Q4: Do you work with non-profits or small startups?
Answer: Absolutely! So far I’ve worked with the Downtown Kingston BIA and the Kingston Canadian Film Festival. I love working with passionate people that share the same goals as myself — especially those just starting out or running community-based projects. I can scale things to fit your budget.
Q5: How do revisions work?
Answer: Each package comes with a set number of revisions (usually 2-3). I prefer to do these over coffee or on Teams. Extra rounds are available at an hourly rate — but I work hard to get things right early.
Q6: Can i hire you for something small?
Answer: Yes! I offer one-off design services like posters, business cards, greeting cards, and more. Check the Services page for pricing.
Printing & Production
Q7: Do you handle printing?
Answer: I don’t do the printing myself, but I prep everything so it’s print-ready and easy to send off. I can recommend local or online printers I trust, or I can submit the order forms for you and have them shipped to your home *this would require you to share your cc details to pay for them*
Q8: How much does printing cost?
Answer: Printing costs depend on the quantity, paper type, finish, and who you go with. Some printers may offer discounts for ordering in large quantities, and some might limit you to a minimum amount you can order. Once we know what you need, I will help you get a quote that fits your budget.
Project & Process Related
Q9: Do I need to have everything figured out before reaching out?
Answer: Nope! That’s what I’m here for. Whether you’ve got a full plan or just a vibe, we’ll work together to shape it into something amazing.
Q10: What if I only need a logo now, but might want more later?
Answer: That’s totally fine. You can always start small — I offer other mini services, so down the road your brand can grow when you’re ready.
Q11: Can I see work-in-progress during the project?
Answer: Totally! I’ll show you updates at key stages so you can give feedback and feel confident about the direction
Money & Ownership
Q12: Do I have to pay everything upfront?
Answer: Most projects will be split into 2 or 3 payments — so it’s manageable for you and fair for both of us.
Q13: Do I own the design when it’s done?
Answer: Yep! Once the project is paid in full, the final files are 100% yours to use however you like, as long as it respects the contract.
